The term Strap-on or strapon
generally refers to a harness
that sits in the pelvic region
and holds a dildo securely in
place. There are many
variations on this type of
harness, such as strap-ons
that attach dildos to furniture,
balls, doors and beds etc. It is used by one partner to
penetrate another partner
vaginally, anally or orally and
is used by both heterosexual
and homosexual couples.
For a woman, a strap-on can
be used to anally penetrate a
man, for vaginal or anal lesbian
intercourse, or for artificial
fellatio.
The major part of a strap-on
is the harness that connects
the dildo to the wearer's body,
preferably in a position similar
to that of a male's genitals.
Good harnesses are made
from good sturdy, comfortable
leather. Some harnesses allow
stimulation to the wearer also.
Strap-ons are usually supplied
with a dildo attached, this is
very limiting for obvious
reasons and the more
acceptable way these days is
to buy a strap-on with a
removable dildo, therefore
accommodating a variety of
shapes.
A Basic Strap-on Two Strap
Is a two strap harness the outer
strap goes around the wearer's
waist, while the inner strap
goes between his/her legs, as
if you were wearing a G string.
Many people find these
uncomfortable because the
strap rubs against the anus and
other areas, and sometimes does
not hold the dildo firmly, causing
it to sag, flop, or twist.
Three Strap Harness
This harness has an outer strap
which goes around the waist,
while each inner strap goes
around the thigh and rejoins the
waist strap forward of the hip,
as if you were wearing a jock
strap. This style leaves the
genitals and anus areas
uncovered and prerequisite
for some wearers, however,
not all people find this design
comfortable, and sometimes
they are hard to make fit
properly.
The Double Harness
This harness can be made
with either a two or three
strap arrangement, the
important difference is that
the double will hold two dildos,
the second one is placed
slightly higher on the pelvis. |
